I don't doubt that for a second and would be happy to own either one. But then everything has room for improvement and Geddes' approach makes a lot of sense to me, well, the technical part of it at least ..
But regarding the OP's question this is irrelevant anyway, as it all circles around directivity control and on-axis vs. off-axid frequency/power response and not the cabinet.
I'm sure the Stonehenge is a fine cabinet, but personally I'd go with a large TML or then smallish closed with one or even better multiple subwoofers.
